Exciting news to report! Angel has been invited to participate in WIBW's Country Road to Stampede Battle of the Bands. This is a tournament bracket competition, where two country artists compete for votes each week and the winner advances to the next round.
Angel competes this Monday, May 10. If you're interested in listening live, her song "She Is" will be played at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central time on Monday and Tuesday. In the Topeka, Kan., area, WIBW is at 94.5 on the FM band. You also can listen online at WIBW's web site.
However, all voting is online. To vote, go to the Battle of the Bands page on Monday and Tuesday. We'll know Wednesday if she advances.
If she finishes in the top two, she'll perform at a special show in June. And if she wins, she'll perform on the main stage at the Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kan. This is one of the biggest festivals in the country and is featuring such artists as Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Little Big Town.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 24. Angel and band will perform at the Legends at Village West in Kansas City, Kan. Look for more information as the date approaches.
The song, Nowhere, Oklahoma, is co-written by recording artist Danielle Peck, who had a Top 20 hit a couple of years ago with Findin' a Good Man. (That song is also part of Angel's live show.)

How's your summer going? Angel and band have been busy working on her upcoming CD! Work continues at LA-Audio in Olathe, Kan. Check back for updates and info when the CD will be available!
